The NHSAA Professional Development Committee has worked hard to develop a varied agenda that builds on our traditionally strong program themes while adding new and unique professional learning opportunities.

As new systems leaders in New Hampshire’s public schools, you are embarking on rewarding, exciting, ever-changing, and challenging jobs! As the premiere support association for New Hampshire public school systems leaders, the NHSAA offers new leaders a 1/2 day orientation as an opportunity to learn more about the NHSAA and how the Association can support you in your new role. Additionally, it’s a great opportunity for you to begin cultivating and expanding your own professional network! Who should attend? Mission 306: Collaborate, Prioritize, Transform - July 29, 2025 (8:30 - 3:30pm) | Primex Building (46 Donovan St.), Concord, NH

Join curriculum and instruction leaders from across the state for a collaborative deep dive into the newly revised ED306 rules and their implications for New Hampshire schools. Using the ED306 Implementation Toolkit, participants will explore strategies for aligning district policies, course offerings, and graduation requirements with the updated standards. This session will provide time and space to share progress, clarify implementation plans and timelines, and examine emerging curriculum-related legislation from the current legislative session. Current Trends - School Operations, Finance, and Business - September 23, 2025 | Grappone Conference Center, Concord, NH

This important annual workshop offered by the New Hampshire School Administrators Association (NHSAA) in partnership with the New Hampshire Association of School Business Officials (NHASBO) includes some general sessions as well as presentations on topics such as: new developments in collective bargaining, state law, auditing requirements, data collection, state financing practices, school safety, lease purchases, Department of Revenue Administration, federal funding, and the sharing of successful "Best Practices." Join us for a crucial full-day training and work session designed to help you effectively manage your federal grants. Our presenters will provide guidance on the grant application process, ensure compliance with federal regulations, and help you maximize the outcomes of your grant(s). We will also cover updates and changes to grant processes, incorporating the most current information from USED and NHED. This professional learning opportunity is valuable for all system leaders, not just those new to this work. Annual Conference on Education Leadership - June 29 - 30, 2026 | Omni Mount Washington Resort, Bretton Woods, NH

The Annual Conference on Education Leadership is a members-only event filled with meaningful professional development, networking, and recognition of both current members and retirees. The event offers two days of professional development including powerful keynotes, along with concurrent sessions delivered by current NHSAA members and NH educators. This special event allows time for colleagues to celebrate the success of the school year, while taking time to celebrate each other and the important work that they do. The event concludes with a members-only business meetings with an update from the AASA. Who should attend? NHSAA members, active GSLA cohort members, retirees, and invited guests.
