NHSAA Professional Development Program for 2018-19

  •         The NHSAA Professional Development Committee has worked hard to develop a varied agenda that builds on our traditionally strong program themes while adding new and unique professional development opportunities.

Our calendar year starts in August with our “9th Annual NHSAA Collective Bargaining Retreat for Management.” That will be followed by the “2018 Best Practices Conference on Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment in New Hampshire” in September. This year we are again co-sponsoring the “Bradley F. Kidder Law Conference” at the beginning of October in cooperation with the New Hampshire School Boards Association and the New Hampshire Council of School Attorneys. Closing out October we have the two-day “2018 Best Practices Conference on School Operations, Finance and Business Leadership.” In cooperation with the New Hampshire Society for Technology in Education, and in collaboration with the NH School Library Media Association, the “32nd Annual Christa McAuliffe Technology Conference” will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton (formerly the Radisson) Hotel in Manchester, NH, from November 27-29, 2018.

In 2019, our program will feature our traditional and timely best practices work session on “Legislative Review” (half-day) the morning of February 4. Our annual “Personnel Leadership” workshop will be held March 11, the second half-day “Legislative Review” update in the morning of March 25. Our season will finish in April with our "2019 Best Practices Conference on Behavioral Health" on April 8 and 9.

NHSAA complies with the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations. If you require special assistance in order to attend our conferences, please contact our office at 603-225-3230.
