NHSAA Professional Development Program for 2019-20

  •            The NHSAA Professional Development Committee has worked hard to develop a varied agenda that builds on our traditionally strong program themes while adding new and unique professional development opportunities.

Our calendar year starts in August with a one-day program, our "10th Annual NHSAA Collective Bargaining Retreat for Management."

The "2019 Best Practices Conference on School Operations, Finance and Business Leadership" is second on our program in September.

This year we are again co-sponsoring the "Bradley F. Kidder Law Conference" at the beginning of October in cooperation with the New Hampshire School Boards Association and the New Hampshire Council of School Attorneys.

Following that, our new "Excellence in  Equity Conference"  will fall on October 8th. Closing out October we have the two-day "2019 Innovations in Learning Conference".

In cooperation with the New Hampshire Society for Technology in Education, Technology and in collaboration with the New Hampshire Chief Technology Officers Council and the NH School Library Media Association, the "33rd  Annual Christa McAuliffe Technology Conference" will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Downtown in Manchester, NH, from December 3-4, 2019.

In 2020, our program will feature our traditional and timely "Legislative  Review" (half-day) the morning of February 3. Our annual "Personnel Leadership" workshop will be held March 9, which will then be followed on March 23 by the second half-day "Legislative  Review"  update in the morning.   Our season will finish with the two-day "2020 Best Practices Conference on Social Emotional Learning" in the beginning of April.
