Our calendar year starts with a new, 2-day program, our “1st Annual NHSAA Collective Bargaining Retreat for Management”. The “The New Bullying Law – How to Meet the New Requirements of the Law, Develop Effective Local Policy and Create Practical Local Training” conference featuring Attorney Dean Eggert is second on our program. The “13th Annual Conference on Education for All Children” is scheduled for September 23 & 24. This year we are again co-sponsoring the “Bradley F. Kidder Law Conference” in October in cooperation with the New Hampshire School Boards Association and the New Hampshire Council of School Attorneys. The next opportunity in our exciting agenda is the “10th Annual Conference on School Operations, Finance and Business Leadership“. The “24th Annual Christa McAuliffe Technology Conference” has a new location this year. It will be held at the Radisson Hotel (formerly the Center of New Hampshire) in Manchester, NH in cooperation with the New Hampshire Technology Educators on November 30 and December 1, & 2, 2010.
Our program also features our traditional and timely best practice work session on “Legislative Priorities” (1/2 day) the morning of February 7. Another ˝-day program, “Title 9 Training – Update on New Laws and Best Practices” will also be held on February 7 but in the afternoon. Our annual “Personnel Leadership” workshop will once again be held in March.
Members are encouraged to review the program schedule and determine how these programs can help you in continuing your important work on behalf of children. The Season Ticket option offers a significant savings to a school district by offering a reduced rate price for "a seat at each” of the individual professional development opportunities scheduled throughout the year (i.e., For each season ticket purchased, one person from your district can attend EACH of the scheduled professional development sessions offered at no additional cost!!).
