| School Building Aid Information - NH Department of Education | |||
| This link contains useful information for school districts that are in process of or are considering building or renovating schools. Additionally, RSA 198:15-b contains important changes which went into effect on July 1, 2005 and which will impact future school building aid. For example, the law now requires the DOE to determine annually the "maximum eligible cost standards for the construction of new school buildings..." On the DOE's website under Office of School Building Aid, "Rates & Costs" it states that "These cost limits apply to the gross building size of the school facility.... School districts, designers, and construction firms should understand these costs to be upper limit for the payment of school building aid." The site also lists by county the maximum allowable dollars per square foot for school construction. | |||
